Growing in learning, growing in character, growing community.

Dear Parents, Grandparents and Carers

The buildings constructed at home and in school by the children for this term's topic, have been absolutely magnificent. There have been the Elizabeth Tower, featuring Big Ben, the pyramids, Stonehenge, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Burj Khalifa and even the Blue Texel Shop in Launton, constructed out of cake; the ingenuity and creativity have been marvellous.

New data protection regulations

On 25 May 2018, there are some changes to the current data protection regulations called the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). The school regards the protection of personal data relating to children and parents/carers as a very important matter.

On the school website, in accordance with best practice, we have published our updated data protection policy and Pupil Privacy notice. The Pupil Privacy notice outlines the pupil information that we collect, hold and share including the lawful basis about how we use this information.

If you would like a printed copy of the data protection policy and privacy notice please do not hesitate to contact the school office.

Thank you for your thoughtful responses to the parent survey; I look forward to sharing them with you.

Best wishes for a lovely half-term holiday. School resumes on Tuesday 5 June as Monday 4 June is a staff inset day.
