Growing in learning, growing in character, growing community.

Dear Parents, Grandparents and Carers

We wait with trepidation to see what the weather has in store for us next, with spring officially beginning tomorrow.

Plan A is a Sports Relief Mile on the field with any donations you wish to make for Sports Relief being posted in one of the post boxes in School House (no envelope needed). For donations, what about dropping in to the post boxes any old £1 coins lying around at home now that they can no longer by spent; we will take them to the bank and have them changed and the proceeds sent to Sport Relief.

Plan B is an alternative in the playground or hall depending on how cold the air is and how wet the ground is. At present, we are discounting swimming a mile on the field...

We will prioritise the children's well-being when we decide, but please send your child with suitable footwear for the field in case we can go ahead; we should know on Wednesday.

The children's preferred plan is actually Plan C, discussed with them today, to complete the Mile on Thursday on the field, before the forecast rain resumes. I will keep you posted.

Best wishes,

Jane Paterson and the staff team
